Data Engineer
Our pace is our competitive advantage. KMA is growing at least threefold year-on-year, and we are looking for a Data Engineer who will help us scale even faster.
Briefly about the role: You will be responsible for supporting the current data platform and developing a new one, providing analysts with high-quality data. This is an opportunity not only to work with the current stack, but also to migrate to modern infrastructure (Databricks, Azure, Spark), paving the way for the implementation of streaming and ML analytics.
Your tasks
1. Support and optimization of existing ETL processes (Python, SQL, Airflow).
2. Participation in data migration to a new platform (Databricks, Azure, Spark, Airbyte, Terraform).
3. Creation of new integrations and ensuring data quality for reporting.
4. Debugging pipeline monitoring processes and incident resolution.
5. Optimization of data aggregation in accordance with the specifics of the new infrastructure.
What we expect from you
1. At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Proficiency in Python and in-depth knowledge of SQL.
3. Practical experience with Spark and Databricks.
4. Understanding of the principles of working with Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Experience working with cloud providers.
6. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.
Nice to have:
1. Certifications (Databricks, Microsoft Certified Data Engineer, AWS/GCP).
2. Experience with Airflow, Airbyte, and Terraform.
3. Understanding of Kafka and streaming data.
