Data Analyst (with engineering part)
Our pace is our competitive advantage. KMA is growing at least threefold year-on-year, and we are looking for a Data Analyst (with engineering part) who will help us scale even faster.
Briefly about the role: a position at the intersection of Data Analytics and Data Engineering: your area of responsibility is not just visualization, but in-depth analysis of databases, searching for anomalies, and systematic error correction. You will work with a modern stack (Databricks, Airflow), influence the quality of decisions for millions of users, and have a clear choice of development vector — delve into engineering or grow as an expert analyst.
Your tasks
1. Searching for low-level data issues, identifying anomalies, and systematically resolving them.
2. Supporting and optimizing the existing analytical infrastructure.
3. Performing ad-hoc analytical queries for various teams (Marketing, Web, Ops).
4. Participating in migration to Databricks and interacting with Data Engineers.
5. Working with transactional and analytical databases, optimizing queries.
6. Communicating with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure data quality.
What we expect from you
1. 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
2. Proficiency in SQL and Python.
3. Experience with data visualization in Tableau.
4. Understanding of database architecture (analytical and transactional) and principles of optimization.
5. Experience with orchestrators (Airflow) and data processing frameworks (Spark).
6. Autonomy in work and willingness to dive deep into large amounts of data.
Nice to have:
1. Experience building pipelines in Python.
2. Practical experience working with Databricks.
