Head of Legal

Kiss My Apps is looking for a self-driven, independent-thinking Head of Legal to build and lead our global legal function!

Briefly about the role: You will be the first legal leader in the company, fully responsible for building and improving the Group’s legal and tax structure. This is a hands-on position where you will analyze risks, shape tax strategy, review and enhance key contracts, and optimize legal workflows to support business growth.
Your tasks
1. Ensure and maintain the Group’s optimal legal and tax structure in compliance with local and international laws across all operating jurisdictions.
2. Lead corporate governance activities (incl. incorporation, restructuring, and liquidation of legal entities).
3. Provide legal support for international tax planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions.
4. Oversee protection and enforcement of IP, (incl. trademark registration, licensing agreements, and IP Box documentation).
5. Monitor, assess, and respond to legal risks, including disputes and IP infringements.
6. Ensure regulatory compliance with data protection laws and app store policies.
7. Draft, review, and negotiate key contracts.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to align legal strategies with business objectives and support operational needs.
9. Develop, implement, and maintain legal policies, procedures, and contract templates to enhance business efficiency.
10. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and provide timely strategic advice to management.
11. Manage relationships with external legal advisors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal services.
12. Support strategic initiatives including M&A, investments, and other corporate projects.
What we expect from you
1. 7+ years of legal experience, with 3–5 years in a senior or Head of Legal role within an international environment (in-house or reputable law firms)
2. Proven experience establishing and managing an in-house legal function for multi-entity groups.
3. Strong expertise in corporate governance, corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
4. Solid knowledge of international tax law, including transfer pricing, withholding tax, and IP Box regimes.
5. Knowledge of major data protection frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
6. Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key commercial agreements (NDA, SLA, MSA, licensing, data protection).
7. Experience supporting M&A transactions would be a plus
8. English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
